Peysanj is a series of geotechnical engineering modules such as bearing capacity plus settlement, pressure-meter test, plate assembling test, topsoil liquefaction analysis, etc bundled as single software.

Peysanj is any series of geotechnical engineering modules such as bearing capacity and settlement, pressure-meter test, plate loading appraisal, lateral earth pressure coefficients (static, seismic), soil liquefaction analysis, etc coupled in the role of each single software.

Allowable bearing capacity should satisfy both shear failure and settlement factors. PEYSANJ uses Harris method due to analysis of soil shear failure by considering the effect of deepwater table under enduring capacity analysis. For settlement analysis, Steinbrenner in conjunction with Goodier (Timoshenko) and rigid foundation formulas are used for immediate (elastic) settlement alongside one-dimensional Terzaghi consolidation model is used for consolidation settlement.
Total settlement of the footing is then calculated by summing up the elastic and unification settlements. Due to one at a time footing size, the minimum values in the context of allowable stresses with the purpose of shear failure and settlement criteria are compared and the introduced as the "Allowable Bearing Capacity" of the footing.
